The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) released the following statement on Tuesday regarding athletic seasons for the 2020-21 school year - CIF Statement - December 1, 2020.

Due to the continued increase in COVID-19 infections the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has postponed its release of updated youth sports guidelines. The CIF does not expect the CDPH to issue any guidance to allow for a return to full practice and competition until after January 1, 2021.

Therefore, the start date of official practice for "Season 1" sports - football, girls volleyball and cross country has been postponed until at least January.

The challenges of 2020 have certainly been immense and we appreciate and respect all of the hard work, flexability and adaptability shown by both our student-athletes and our coaches through what has been a difficult time. 

As it has been throughout these many months of uncertainty we will continue to prepare and look forward to the day that our young men and women can compete together.
